Nyhavn – a 400 long canal, 25 m wide and 6 m deep from Copenhagen Inner Harbour to Kings New Square (Kongens Nytorv) in the center of Copenhagen City:
Built 1671-74 by King Christian 5 for commercial use:
– direct entrance to Copenhagen City for cargo- and passenger ships with storehouses and hotels close to the canal.
