Oplev Københavns Inderhavn sensommer 2016 til fods, under løb og på cykel – fantastisk arkitektur, historie, broer, græsplæner og bolværk med adgang til badning i havnen.
Text and photos Erik K Abrahamsen 25. august 2016
In the last 20 years Copenhagen Inner Harbour has been open up for residences and recreation for all inhabitants of Copenhagen.
From serving as a busy commercial harbour the last 500 years now Copenhagen Inner Harbour have become a unique area of splendid architecture, walk and bike bridges, swimming pools close to wharfs and bathing in the clean water of the harbour.
You can walk, run and bike along the north- and south side of Copenhagen Inner Harbour.
From east at Nyhavn/”Inderhavnsbroen” to west at Sluseholmen and back you can follow the 13 km long “Havneringen” alongside quays and wharfs.
Today 15. august 2016 I have decided to walk and bike half of Inderhavnsruten “HAVNERINGEN”:
– from east at Nyhavn at the new walk- and bike slide bridge “Inderhavnsbroen” in direction west on north side of Copenhagen Inner Harbour to walk- and bike bridge “Bryggebroen”, “Fisketorvet” and the new cycle bridge “The Bicycle Snake” (Cykelslangen) on Havneholmen,
-and back on south side of Copenhagen Inner Harbour from “Bryggebroen” to Islands Brygge, Langebro, The new walk- and bike bridge “Circle Bridge” (Cirkelbroen), Knippelsbro to Grønlandske Handels Plads with the 3 new bike- and walk bridges: Inderhavnsbroen, Trangravsbroen and Proviantbroen on Christianshavn and Holmen.
