5. september 2019 er Flagdag til ære for Danmarks ca. 60.000 udsendte i internationale missioner siden 1948 og mindedag for faldne i disse internationale missioner.
I år falder dagen sammen med starten på en stor NATO flådeøvelse i Østersøen med deltagelse af 16 nationer og 40 krigsskibe bemandet med 4500 søfolk.
Store dele af denne flåde ligger for kaj i Københavns Inderhavn med offentlig adgang.

Belgien, Danmark, Canada, Estland, Tyskland, Letland, Litauen, Holland, Norge, Finland, Polen, Kroatien, Frankrig, England, USA og Sverige.

After a 2 hours walk through Copenhagen Inner Harbour I finish in Fortress Kastellet at the entrance to Copenhagen Inner Harbour on the north side.
The Fortress Kastellet was built by King Christian 4, king of Norway and Denmark 1588-1648 and his son King Frederik, 3 king of Norway and Denmark 1648-70 as part of forteess around the entire Copenhagen with 24 bastions, ramparts and mounds 1620-63.
