The beaches on the 9 km long coastline to Kattegat Sea are excellent for swim, play, fun, walk and run.
The water and sand is clean and when the wind from north meet the coast the waves are excellent for kite surfing.
At Liseleje beach East and West, Kulgab beach, Stængehus beach and Tisvildeleje beach East and West there are life guard stations “Den Nordsjællandske Kystlivredningstjeneste” livredningstjenesten.dk from 28. june until 11. august from 10 am to 8 pm.

I will take you on the 9 km lang coastline trip fra Hyllingebjerg Beach in west to Tisvildeleje Beach in east.
It is a unique experience of beaty, sun, sea, sand, dunes and forest.
I discovered this coastline of Kattegat Sea in North Sealand for the first time in 1985, when I lived permanent i Copenhagen – 60 km south of coastline to Kattegat Sea.
In 1993 I bought a summerhouse in Melby, 2 km from Liseleje and Kattegat coast i western part of North Sealand.
Since 2012 I lived permanently in my summerhouse i Melby. I enjoy the Kattegat coastline in North Sealand all year around – summer, autumn, winter and spring.
Here is my photo story:
On friday 26 july 2019 we had heatwave all over Denmark – it is 3 days with more than 28 degree – with max. temp. in Holbæk 31,5 degree.
At 2.30 pm 26. july 2019 I visited Hyllingebjerg Beach.
