The second week of april 2018 all Denmark wakes up to spring with 15-20 degrees, sunshine and blue sky.
After a long winter with rain, snow and minus degrees danes and tourists went outside to enjoy nature in parks, forests, squares and lakes and visit restaurants and café s in the historical old city of Copenhagen and Christianshavn.
I invite you on a little journey with me to the most cosy sites in old Copenhagen and Christianshavn. Time duration on walk about 5-6 km, 2-3 hours and you will walk in a circle:
We will visit:
START: Nørreport Station.
Walk 100 m to:
Israel Square, Torvehallerne, Ørsted Park, Latin Quarter, Gammel Torv og Nytorv, Gråbrødre Torv, Skindergade, Rundetårn, Amagertorv with Storkespringvandet, Højbro Plads med Absalons Statue, Slotsholmen Kanal, Holmens Kirke, Christianshavns Torv, Vor Frelsers Kirke, The new Inner Harbour walk- and bike bridge “Inderhavnbroen”, Nyhavn, Kongens Nytorv, Kongens Have med Rosenborg Castle and Queens Royal Guard, Landemærket, Rundetårn, Kultorvet
and walk 100 m to
FINISH: Nørreport Station.

Nyhavn was built 1670-72 as a canal for trade with store houses close to wharf.
