7 b. VISION: Revelation 20,1 – 15

On the Temple Area all 3 temples were constructed:

First temple “Salomon Temple” built by King Salomon 972-932 B.C., the 2. temple “Zerubbabel Temple” built from about 530 B.C. and completed by King Darios 521-486 B.C. and demolished by Roman emperor Pompeius 67 B.C. and the third Temple (Temple of Herod) rebuilt 20 B.C. until it was destroyed together with Jerusalem by The Roman Empire 70 A.C.:

The Wailing Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem. The wall is the original west wall of the third Temple “Herod Temple” built by the roman emperor King Herod the Great  around 20 B.C. 7 b. VISION: Revelation 20,1 – 15

1. The thousand years, Revelation 20,1-6:

-“And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He throw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations any more until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time, Revelation 20,1-3.

2. The first resurrection, Revelation 20,4-6:

-“I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshipped the beast or the image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection, blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priest of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years, Revelation 20, 4-6.

 

The Ascension (Luke 24,50-53):

-“When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God”, (Luke 24,50-53).

Summary of the future events mentioned in Revelation 19,1-21:

 

The Rapture of the bride of Jesus Christ, Revelation 19,6-10 and 1. Thessalonians 4,13-18

The wedding supper of the Lamb in heaven Revelation 19,5-10,

The second coming of Jesus Christ: the Rider on the White Horse Revelation 19,11-21 and 2. Thessalonians 2,1-12.

 

Today we are still in the Time of Grace/Time of The Holy Spirit/ The End Time/The tribulation Time, which began on Pentecost with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the disciples (Acts 2,1-47) AND the word of Jesus, when He met his disciples in Galilee after His Resurrection:

-“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of age”,” Matthew 28,18.

Just BEFORE THE BIG TRIBULATION TIME of 7 years, See Daniel 9,25-27 in NEAR FUTURE Jesus Christ in Glory will meet HIS BRIDE of true disciples and true believers in the air: “The rapture of the bride of Jesus Christ”, see 1. Thessalonians 4,13-18, The coming of the Lord:

-“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with a voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so will be with the Lord for ever. Therefore encourage each other with these words”, 1. Thessalonians 4,16-18.

 

After the rapture of church of true christians believers the last week = 7 years of the seventy weeks = 70 x 70 years = 490 years will begin, Daniel 9,24-27.

4.VISION: 12,1 – 14,20 The Harvest of the Earth

The woman pregnant and an enormous red dragon 12,1 – 12,12,

The Beast out of the Sea and The Beast out of the Earth 13,1 – 13,18,

A new song to the Lamb 14, 1-5,

The three angels. The eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth – to every nation, tribe, language and people and a warning not to worship the beast and his image and not to receive the mark of his name. “This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God´s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus”, 14,12,

The Beast out of the Sea, Revelation 13,1-10:

THE FALSE PROPHET.

This is visions, where God reveals to the Body of Christ – THE CHURCH of true believers and disciples of Jesus Christ about Satan´s strategy to deceive and destroy THE CHURH in the 7 years of THE GREAT TRIBULATION just before the second coming of Jesus Christ.

-“ The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months”, Revelation 13,5.

-” He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people. language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. He who has an ear, let him hear”, Revelation, 13,7-9.

The Beast out of the Sea is a metaphor of a person – a false prophet who is under influence and dominion of Satan. The false prophet established a false ideology, a false religion , a false way of thinking, which is worldwide. The false prophet will get authority over all nations on earth. This authority will lead to a worldwide power system of false religion/false political ideology, economic and military structures. This 3-fold system is under influence and dominion of the false Prophet and the Dragon=Satan.

The Beast out of the Earth, Revelation, 13,10-18:

ANTICHRIST:

 The Beast out of the Earth is a metaphor of a person – ANTICHRIST, who is under influence and dominion of Satan. Antichrist will rule out of the 3-fold system created by THE FALSE PROPHET – a false ideology, a false religion, a false way of thinking: a worldwide power system of false religion/false political ideology, economic and military structures.

-“He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no-one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name”, Revelation 13,16-17.

This is a extremely serious warning from God to all true christians about Satan strategy to destroy the faith and life of all true christians in THE BIG TRIBULATION TIME of 7 years just before THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST IN GLORY AND POWER.

“a mark on his right hand or on his forehead”, Revelation 13,16.

A “mark” symbolize your belonging to somebody. When you are a true christians God the Almighty has put his holy “mark” inside your spirit, body and soul (1. Thessalonians 5,23), when you received Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord (Romans 10,9-10). Your mark is that your are “born again” (John 3,1-21) and that you have received the indwelling power of The Holy Spirit. When you are baptized with The Holy Spirit your body, soul and spirit are filled with The Holy Spirit (Acts 2,1-21).

The”mark of the beast is the mark of the Dragon = the mark of Satan, which indicate that a person belongs to Satan and serve him and will be doomed to Hell in the FINAL judgment, see Revelation 20,7-15, Satan´s Doom.

-“This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man´s number. His number is 666”, Revelation 13,18.

7 – seven is God´s metaphor number symbolize perfection and holiness.

6 – six is a metaphor number of the earth symbolize  non perfection and unholiness and is a number of Satan.

Its what a person let indwell in his/her heart, that indicate the person´s relation and belonging to either God or Satan.

The second coming of Jesus Christ: 

– the Rider on the White Horse, Revelation 19,11-21:

Since Pentecost with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the disciples (Acts 2,1-42) “this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations”, Matthew 24,14a, and will be preached through the entire Tribulation Time/End Time/Time of Grace/Time of Salvation/Time of The Holy Spirit AND through the seven years (The last “week” of the seventy weeks = 3,5 +3,5 = seven years, See Daniel 9,25-27)  named THE GREAT TRIBULATION TIME until THE SECOND COMING of Jesus Christ in GLORY – The Rider on the White Horse, Revelation 19,11-21.

 

-“So when you see standing in the holy place”the abomination that causes desolation” spoken of through the prophet Daniel – let the reader understand – then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains”, Matthew 24,15; and see Daniel 7, 15-28; 9,25-27; 11,31;12,12 and 2 Thessalonians 2,1-12, The Man of Lawlessness.

-“Because of the signs he was given power to do of behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up a image in honour of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and caused all who refused to worship the image to be killed. He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so theta no-one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name”, Revelation 13,15-17.

 

-“I, Daniel, was troubled in spirit, and the visions that passed through my mind disturbed me. I approached one of those standing there and asked him the true meaning of all this. So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things: The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth. But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it for ever – yes for ever and ever, Daniel 7,15-18.

-“For then there will be great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now – and never to be equalled again. If those days had not been cut short, no-one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened, Matthew 24,21-22.

-“Immediately after the distress of those days

“the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken”, Matthew 24,29.

-” At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other, Matthew 24,30-31.

 

The Rider on the White Horse, Revelation 19,11-21:

-“The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his month comes a shape sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has his ams written:

KINGS OF KINGS AND LORDS OF LORDS, Revelation 19,14-16.

-“Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider of the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs  he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur. The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all birds gorged themselves on their flesh, Revelation 19,19-21.

The Thousand Years, Revelation 20,1-6:

He throw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations any more until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time, Revelation 20,1-3.

 

The thousand years will be a blessing time for Israel, all jews and Gentiles, Romans 11,1-36.

 

The future REIGN OF CHRIST ON EARTH – The Thousand Years, Revelation 20,1-6.

 

All Israel Will Be Saved, as is written: The Deliver will come from Zion; Romans 11,25-36:

-“I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliver will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins”, ” Romans 11,25-27.

-“And so all Israel will be saved, as is written: The Deliver will come from Zion.”, Note  Romans 11,26 The NIV Study Bible: And so. An emphatic statement that this is the way all Israel will be saved. all Israel. Three main interpretations of this phrase are: (1) the total number of elect Jews of every generation (equivalent to the “fulness” of Israel (v.12), which is analogous to the “fulness (full number) of the Gentiles” (v.25); (2) the total number of the elect, both jews and gentiles, of every generation; (3) the great majority of jews of the final generation. will be saved. The salvation of the jews will, of course, be on same basis as anyone´s salvation: personal faith in Jesus Christ, crucified and risen from the dead. The deliverer will come from Zion. The quotation is from Isa 59,20, where the deliverer (“Redeemer”) seems to refer to God. The Talmud understood the text to be a reference to the Messiah, and Paul appears to use it in this way. Zion. See note on Gal 4,26.

-“And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins”, Romans 11,27, Note Romans 11,27 The NIV Study Bible: covenant. The new covenant of Jer 31,31-34. when I take away their sins. See Jer 31,34: Zec 13,1. Just as salvation for gentiles involves forgiveness of sins, so the jews, when they are saved, are forgiven by the mercy of God – his forgiveness based only on their repentance and faith (see v.23; Zec 12,10-13,1).

 

– “as is written”, Romans 11,25:

See: Isaiah 2,1-5; 65,17-25; 66,19-22;  Daniel 2,44; 7,18.18.22;  Amos 9,11-15 and Micah 4,1-4.

-“This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: In the last days the mountain of the LORD´s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; It will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many people. They will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war any more. Come, O house of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the LORD”,” Isaiah 2,1-5.

-“In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure for ever. This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands – a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces. The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and the interpretation is trustworthy”, Daniel 2,44-45.

 

To Us a Child Is Born, Isaiah 9,1-7:

-“Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honour Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan –

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy, they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as men rejoice when dividing the plunder. For as in the day of Midian´s defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor. Every warrior´s boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire.

For us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of government and peace there will be no end.

He will reign on David´s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and for ever.

The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this”, Isaiah 9,1-7.

 

-“Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals”, Revelation 5,5.

-“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the church. I am the Root and the offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star“, Revelation 22,16.

 

-“Say to the daughter of Zion, “See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey”, Matthew 21,4.

-” The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!” When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” Matthew 21,9-11.

 

The Remnant  of Israel, Romans 11,1 – 36.

Israel´s restoration, Amos 9,11-15:

-“In that day I will restore David´s fallen tent. I will repair its broken places, restore its ruins, and build it as it used to be, so they they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear my name,” declares the LORD, who will do these things”, Amos 9,11-12.

-“According to the first verse, Amos prophesied during reigns of Uzziah over Judah (792-740 B.C.) and Jeroboam 2 over Israel (793-753 B.C.). The main part of his ministry was probably carried out c. 760-750 B.C. Both kingdoms were enjoying great prosperity and had reached new political and military heights (cf. 2Ki 14,23-15,7; 2Ch 26). It was also a time of idolatry, extravagant indulgence in luxurious living, immorality, corruption of judicial procedures and oppression of the poor. In consequence, God would soon bring about the Assyrian captivity of the northern kingdom (722-711 B.C.). Unquote.

-“The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the ploughman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills. I will bring back my exiled people Israel;  they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.  I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given to them”, says the LORD your God”, Amos 9,13-15.

and

God´s Love for Israel, Hosea 11,1-4:

-“When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. But the more I called Israel, the further they went from me. They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to images. It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them. I led them with cords human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them, Hosea 11, 1-4.

_” Hosea son of Beeri prophesied about the middle of the eight century B.C., his ministry beginning during or shortly after that of Amos. Amos threatened God´s judgment on Israel at the hands of an unnamed enemy; Hosea identifies that enemy as Assyria (7,11;8,9; 10,6; 11,11). Unquote.

-“Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God. Your  sins have been your downfall! Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to him: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of four lips. Hosea 14,1-2.

_” I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them. I will be like the  de w to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots; his young shoots will grow. His splendour will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like  a cedar of Lebanon”, Hosea 14,4-6.

-” Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, bur the rebellious stumble in them, Hosea, 14,9.

The Suffering and Glory of the Servant, Isaiah, 52,13 -53,21:

-“See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at him – his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness – so will he sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their months because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand”, Isaiah 52,13-15.

-“Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him”, Isaiah 53,1-2.

-“He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not”, Isaiah 53,3.

-“Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed”, Isaiah 53,4-5.

-“We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity os us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers silent, so he did not open his mouth”, Isaiah 53,6-7.

-“By oppression and judgement he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of my people he was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth”, Isaiah 53,8-9.

 

-“and by his wounds we are healed”, Romans 53,5:

-“But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame”, Romans 10,8-12.

 

-“But when the time had fully come”, Galatians 4,4:

-“But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out,”Abba, Father”. So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir”, Galatians 4,4-7.
