For more than 40 years Freetown Christiania in Copenhagen, Denmark have invited to a free banquet for more then 1000 people.
Grey Hall in Freetown Christiania:
More than 200 hundreds volunteers have decorated Grey Hall in Christiania for christmas celebration, cooked 3 meals both vegetarian and usual danish christmas food and offered music and song entertainments throughout the christmas evening and night.
Here on christmas eve 2015 is my wonderful experience of hospitality, love and joy and excellent food.

At 6 p.m. we line up two queue – one for a vagetarian meal and one for a meals with ox or pig.
Free menu:
- Vegetarian or meat,
- Rice pudding,
- Cake and coffee/tea,
- Homemade chocolate-marzipan bars.

To enjoy this christmas eve 24. december 2015 in fellowship with people of all nationalities and ages is an experience you should give yourself!
At my dinner table we were 8 persons eating, talking and laughing – sharing why we were here in Grey Hall celebrating our christmas together with more than 1000 people and talking about our personal life and our dreams and goals for the future.
At my table I came across 3 frenchmen Glenn, Sonia and Lucas:
Lucas, Sonia and Glenn have all studied in Norway and Denmark – 2 months in food industrial factories as student volunteers learning about the production and the companies strategies on ecology and sustainability.
-and now they are on holiday on their journey back to Rennes in France and chooses this wonderful adventure to celebrate christmas 2015 together with me, my friends and more than 1000 further here in Grey Hall, Freetown Christiania in quarter Christianshavn in Copenhagen.
What a great christmas eve 2015 – full of joy, love, peace and freedom!

At 9. p.m. I left The Christmas banquet in Grey Hall, Christiana to drive to my home – 60 km north of Copenhagen.
What a wonderful christmas evening enjoying life together with more than 1000 wonderful people from all nations!
